Webinar funnel

A webinar funnel is the sequence a prospect moves through around a webinar — from ad or invite, to a registration page, to attending, to a post-webinar offer and follow-up — designed to turn attention into customers.

The stages of a webinar funnel

A typical webinar funnel has five stages: traffic (ads, email, organic), registration (a landing page that captures the sign-up), show-up (reminders that get registrants to actually attend), the session (the content plus the offer), and follow-up (behaviour-based emails for attendees and no-shows). Each stage has its own conversion rate, and the whole funnel is only as strong as its weakest step.

Why evergreen changes the funnel

With a live webinar the funnel fires once per event. With an evergreen webinar, the same funnel runs continuously — every day is a webinar day — so a single recording keeps converting traffic for months. That turns the funnel from a campaign into an always-on asset.

Where conversions are won and lost

The two highest-leverage points are usually show-up rate and the moment of the offer. Real AI chat helps at the offer by answering objections live, and automated follow-up recovers no-shows and undecided attendees. See how this maps to evergreen lead generation with Presentr.
